It’s VOICES week! – Our five day countdown, yes that’s right just THREE more days for us to welcome you all to the MFCC for Malta’s music extravaganza! This week we’ll be introducing you to the singers, band members and presenters of this year’s final edition of VOICES. For all of you laid back, ever so relaxed music lovers, not to pressure you but now would be the perfect time to purchase your tickets so hop over to the VOICES website here.

In the meanwhile, put your hands together for some of the island’s most talented musicians, singers and stars Carmen Grasso,  Christopher Busuttil, Dorothy Borg Bonnici and Philip Zammit. Here’s what they shared:

Describe Voices by completing this sentence: Voices is….

Carmen Grasso   – …. great for your mind, body and soul!

Christopher Busuttil – ….Humble altruism in a fun way.

Dorothy Borg Bonnici – …. a unique experience bringing together people from all walks of life with a musical talent with the aim of doing some good through their talent.

Philip Zammit – ……a family. A group of people who care for each other and sacrifice their time for a great cause whilst having fun at the same time too ! 🙂

Which are your 3 favourite Voices covered songs?

Carmen Grasso  – Yellow Brick Road, Barcelona, The Voice Within

Christopher Busuttil – He lives in you, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Voice within

Dorothy Borg Bonnici – Stairway to Heaven; He Lives in You; We Will Rock You/We are the Champions.

Philip Zammit – He lives in you, Caruso, Bohemian Rhapsody

Which was your fondest VOICES memory from Voices?

Carmen Grasso – The last night of each edition is always my ultimate favourite time!

Christopher Busuttil – Voices gave me the chance to discover so much more about myself, the world at large and people in need.

Dorothy Borg Bonnici – I look forward to the beneficiaries’ night. It’s the most rewarding show.

Philip Zammit – My fondest memory is the love and support I received following a complication in an operation during the rehearsals. This support motivated me to carry on and i managed to make the shows. Which has to be my second favourite, the vibe from the people was amazing.

Aren’t they just an awesome bunch of talent? Want to meet more of our VOICES 2016 family? Watch this space – we’ve got loads more to share!
