Music has the power to create amazing inspiring moments which become lasting memories. So dear friends, let’s take a walk down memory lane and salute the people who created VOICES and remember why we’re all singing our hearts out for an amazing cause.

How it all began

It was 1990 when the late Louis Naudi, a former Aloysian decided that he wanted to give something valuable back to the Jesuit Community and the St Aloysius College. He invited Adrian Mamo, Sue Weenink and Tony Vella to join him on a mission to make his dream come true. Just one year later the VOICES Choir received their first standing ovation. For those of you who remember, it was an incredible night of magic. After that first night, the VOICES Choir never looked back.

Music for a good cause

The power of music has resulted in an astounding amount of money collected for various charities. More than 2 million euros have been donated to sustainable projects by NGOS such as Eden Foundation, Red Cross. JRD, UNICEF, Razzett tal-Hbiberija, WWF, Red Cross, The Gaia Foundation, Puttinu Cares, YMCA, Caritas Malta amongst other notable charities. A dedicated advisory board reviews all applications based on set criteria and proposes one or two large project beneficiaries and a number of small ones. Ticket revenue funds are then donated at the end of each concert. We love knowing that the power of music has helped thousands of individuals – that warms our heart.

The gift of music has taken us on an incredible journey and it’s now time for us to say goodbye, it’s our grand finale and we’re so proud and honored to share it with all of you. So for one last time, join us as we celebrate music, book your tickets online here. It really will be a spectacular night.
